I wonder if this debate would have been a little fairer if he didn’t miss so much time through a horrific injury.
Give us just that little bit more of a sample size if you would.
Today marks the 5th anniversary of the day that we signed Dutchman Maikel Kieftenbeld. The midfielder has made 171 appearances for the club in that time, scoring six goals and chipping in with four assists.
@BirminghamFanTV marked the occasion on Twitter by asking if the reported £180,000 that we paid for him was a ‘bargain’ or not. However, what started off as a simple conversation about how well he has done during his time here, turned into a debate about who was better between the Dutchman and Croatian, although it appeared to be a pretty one-sided one.
Does Ivan Sunjic have Premier League potential?
Yes

Sunjic easily not even a contest. Love dutch Mike but Sunjic is a far better player

Think it was more who do people prefer to who’s the better player. Don’t think that would be a fair competition 😉

I’m a huge fan of Sunjic. It was incredibly difficult to justify my reasons why to my cousin who came and watched Blues for the first time against Blackburn in the FA Cup. 😂

What about you? What have you made of Kieftenbeld’s time with Blues? And who do you think is better between him and Sunjic?
