Blues have held talks with Norwich City over a possible loan deal for Ricky van Wolfswinkel, according the Press Association.
The 27 year-old spent the last two season on loan at Saint Etienne and Real Betis but only scored 12 goals during his loan spells.
Reports suggest that Gary Rowett will make a move for him if the bid for Che Adams fails to materialise.
