There has been no breakthrough yet on potential new arrivals at St Andrews says manager Chris Hughton.
The Blues boss is looking to the loan market to help boost his squad, but after the defeat at the hands of Manchester City in the Carling Cup, he confirmed that all he could do at the moment is wait.
When asked if there were any fresh faces on the way, Hughton said: ‘Not at the moment.
‘I think we’re the same as a lot of clubs in our position.
‘You’re looking at any opportunities you
have but sometimes that’s something you can only work over each day and each week.
‘They’ll be clubs that will allow players to go out after periods of time. Sometimes once they’ve got some fresh bodies back then they’ll allow some players to go so it’s one that you have to monitor as each day goes past.’
