No Loans Likely For Clark

Blues manager Lee Clark has no plans to bring in any players during the loan market period which started today.

Last season Blues made good use of the loan market bringing in several faces after the payment of their wages had been sanctioned by the club.

But Chris Hughton had things a little easier than Clark has now because Birmingham just don’t have the funds that they once had.

So unless there is someone who Clark feels could make a huge difference to the side, no business will be done.

Clark told the Birmingham Mail: “No plans, no immediate plans.

“In terms of the loan window, there is no sense in letting any senior lads go, which I see as important members of the squad.

“There`s no real justification in that.

“And generally we`ve been working to the remit that for someone to come in, someone has to go out. I don`t know, maybe that`s one way, if things suited us, of course.

“But at the moment, no, there is nothing we`re looking to do.”
