Birmingham City manager Chris Hughton says there have been no offers placed on the table for Blues defender Liam Ridgewell.

Over the past few months there has been talk of Ridgewell leaving St Andrews with Stoke City`s name always appearing on the list of possible buyers.

They were among a handful of clubs who were tipped to put a bid on the table in the summer, now it looks like there is only Stoke and Newcastle interested.

However, Hughton says there have been no approaches for Ridgewell following the renewed speculation about the player’s future.

Hughton told the Birmingham Mail: ‘There will be speculation but at this moment we’ve not had one enquiry for him.’
