Viv Solomon-Otabor returned from his loan at Blackpool last week, and he gave an interview to BluesTV outlining his ambitions to break into the first team next season.
The winger made a good impact in League One playing for the Tangerines, and he will definitely be a decent option for Garry Monk.
Fans on Twitter are all hoping Viv makes an impression on the manager during pre-season:
Hopefully viv will have a solid pre season, another player the fans want to see come through to the senior team in 2018/19. ????????????⚪️????#kro

Very excited to see @VivSolomon17 back at Blues. The guy has to be allowed to fight for his position in the first team next season and not sent out on loan. Very exciting prospect!

Verdict:
The 22-year-old should be coming back to the club with a lot of confidence. He needed a season playing regular first team football, and after having played 47 times in all competitions last campaign, he certainly gained a great deal of experience.
His five goals and six assists was a reasonable return playing for a mid-table club, but I’m sure he’ll be hoping to kick on next season and improve his game further.
Our no.17 could provide very good backup for the likes of Jacques Maghoma and Jota in wide areas, allowing Monk to invest in signings in other positions.
