Birmingham midfielder Barry Ferguson has put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep the player at Blues until summer 2012.
The 32-year-old has been in impressive form since he joined from Rangers and now that he has sorted out his international future, he was only too pleased to sign on the dotted line.
He said: “Before I left on the tour it was all agreed and I signed on the dotted line. I can now concentrate on another two years at Birmingham.
“It was kind of a dual thing ? they came to me and had a chat, and I was always interested.”
