“My deepest sympathy”, “the worst”: Some Birmingham fans can’t believe news about former boss

|

If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

Isn’t that what we were told as kids? Well it looks as if these Birmingham City fans haven’t quite taken that idea to mind, as they have been saying some rather mean things about one of the Blues’ former bosses.

According to reports, former Blues boss Steve Cotterill is set to have talks with Hearts over their vacant manager’s job. Cotterill was in charge at St Andrew’s for 27 games, and lost over half of them, losing his job after a little over five months in the dugout, so perhaps some criticism is warranted, just not to this level.

So when news came out that he was set to be interviewed for the same role at Tynecastle, fans were quick to, not only say some bad things about the 55-year-old, but also send a warning to any Hearts fans that might be reading their posts that they are in for a very bumpy ride if the board end up following through with the appointment.

Will Pep Clotet stay in the dugout all season?

Yes

No

Well it certainly made a difference to when Garry Monk took the Sheffield Wednesday job and fans couldn’t speak highly enough about him.
