Nope, I’m still not panicking.
The Blues slipped to their third consecutive defeat last night, as an Anthony Pilkington goal saw them fall 1-0 to Wigan at the DW Stadium.
One of the early shocks of the night came when the lineup was announced, because it included a league debut for Chelsea loanee Jake Clarke-Salter, which left a couple of fans rather worried before the game had even begun.
How he played against Portsmouth was how he played for Sunderland and Bristol week in, week out. It has the potential to be a horror show tonight!

And he managed to put in a decent enough shift, in that he wasn’t really called on to do much as the first half sort of dragged on a bit, with few clear cut chances for either side.
Lacking a cutting edge up front Crowley looks up for it though, set pieces have been poor

In fact if ever there was a tweet that could sum up how dull that first half was, let it be this absolute masterpiece.
I’ve seen more personality in a peanut ???? , shocking, there’s no life …. can’t see players shouting to each other, clapping each other trying to get something going, pep can go as far as I am concerned, unless we win ????.

The Blues started a little bit brighter in the second half as they looked to bounce back from two consecutive defeats, although not bright enough in the eyes of this fan. Would they be able to find a breakthrough as the game entered it’s final stages?
This is poor stuff, needs to make changes before we go behind

Turns out there would be a breakthrough, but it wouldn’t come from the Blues, but rather from the hosts as Anthony Pilkington’s shot squirmed under the body of Lee Camp to give the hosts the lead.
Can’t believe how poor we’ve been tonight, another 3 points dropped pic.twitter.com/Ku3H1hsk0h

Possibly one of the worst performances I’ve ever witnessed, everyone from the pitch to the bench look clueless

Despite a couple of chances falling the visitor’s way, there was to be no breakthrough as the Blues slipped to a third consecutive defeat, and the fans were not happy about it.
That was hard to watch, every match feels like groundhog day, we start so slow, no doubt Friday will be a similar story, Gimenez and Juke are not gonna get the goals, Bailey looks decent but needs to be central, why Crowley was taken off I have no clue, poor all round tonight

Cheers boys, missed Bake Off for that ????
