Monk keen on Leeds United winger

|

Garry Monk is hoping for a summer reunion with Leeds United winger Pablo Hernandez.

The 32-year-old is out of contract this summer and is yet to be offered a new deal, although sources at Elland Road suggest this is on the agenda.

Hernandez has scored seven times this season and is an ever present for the Whites, now managed by Paul Heckingbottom.

Monk’s summer shopping list will depend on which division his team are playing in next season.

Blues remain in the bottom three on goal difference despite Saturday’s 3-0 win against Hull City.

You can read about Pablo on his Wikepedia page.

Monk obviously has experience of the 32-year-old. The player appears to be versatile as he can play either as a midfielder or as a winger. I have to hold my hands up, I know little to nothing about him. In Gary Monk we have to trust though. I guess he will need a blend, both young players coming through and some older heads to steer the youngsters through the season.
