Birmingham have signed former Nottingham Forest midfielder Guy Moussi on a two month contract and will wear the no 39.

The 29 year old joins Birmingham after having two trial periods and failing to find a club since leaving Forest in the summer.

Gary Rowett has signed the midfielder to add to the muscle in central midfield. Someone to break up play and get Blues up and running when the going gets tough in the middle.

The midfielder will be with Birmingham until January but it is likely that he will remain with the club if he impresses enough whilst here. Paul Robinson joined on a similar deal and he now remains as captain of the team.

Contrary to popular belief, Blues have enough room in the budget for Rowett to change the squad and he was promised as much before taking the job.

Moussi began his career with Anger, in France. His second club came in a move to Nottingham Forest in 2008. He made 122 appearances for the Reds and also enjoyed some time on loan at Milwall.

Guy has also revealed he will be generously donating his wages for the next two months to four charities of his choosing. One being a local Birmingham children’s charity; a nice touch – similar to that of David Beckham when he played in Paris.
