Birmingham City manager Alex McLeish was not pleased with his side`s display in the defeat against Augsburg and described the side as ‘flat’.
The Birmingham boss was far from impressed with his players after going down 2-0 to the their German counterparts.
It was the Blues second successive defeat in pre-season, but whereas McLeish was not unhappy after losing to Stuttgart, he was not pleased after this game.
“We looked flat. I was very much pleased with the performance against Stuttgart but not so much last night`s,’ McLeish told The Birmingham Mail.
“We lacked a bit of quality on the ball, our passing went astray, we looked slow and a little bit cumbersome.’
