Aaron Mclean bagged two goals for the under 21’s side in midweek and is now sure that he can fit in and work well with the rest of the squad.

Mclean arrived last week and went straight into the clash with Blackpool as a substitute, during the game he did enough to impress his new team mates and show manager Lee Clark that he had made the right decision in bringing him to the club.

Ahead of this week’s fixture against Barnsley at Oakwell, Mclean is more used to what goes on around the place having spent time training and then knocking two goals in against Newcastle u21’s in midweek.

Mclean told the Birmingham Mail: “It will take a little while for the lads to get to know how I play and for myself to know how they play.

“But I am sure that will change, just through training.

“I will be letting the lads know how I want it.

“The type of striker I am, I want to get in behind defences.

“I want them to put the ball into areas so I can turn teams.

“I am sure once the lads realise how I play and likewise I realise how they play we shouldn`t have any type of problems.”

The forward is with Blues until January, he had little chance of playing at Hull, players like Graham, Yannick Sagbo and Nick Proschwitz are ahead of him in the pecking order.
