Maxwell set for Grimsby loan

Birmingham City Under-23 midfielder Luke Maxwell is poised to join League Two side Grimsby Town on loan until the end of the season.

Maxwell is yet to make a first team appearance for Blues after signing from Kidderminster one year ago in a £75,000 deal.

A move to Blundell Park would see the 19-year-old link up with former Blues Ladies and Solihull Moors manager Marcus Bignot.
