The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Leeds United this Saturday.
Birmingham City travel to Leeds United on Saturday August 13 for the game at Elland Road and the match carries a 3pm kick off.
Referee: Paul Tierney
Linesmen: Andrew Garratt and Derek Eaton
Fourth Official: Ben Toner
Match Day referee Tierney has officiated one game in 2016/17, with no cards shown yet.
He took in 42 matches last season and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 118 yellow cards and four red cards.
He was most card happy in the match between Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers on August 28 with a total of eight yellows being shown and one red card.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
