I’m not so sure how much you really want to put into a result like this.
Yes, it was against a Premier League side, although according to reports it was a ‘largely youthful side’ with the sprinkling of a couple of senior players thrown in, as spotted by a few people on social media, and this game was more than likely just for match fitness than anything else.
The Blues upped their preparation for the restart of the Championship season over the weekend as they drew 1-1 with Wolverhampton Wanderers at St Andrew’s, with Lukas Jutkiewicz getting the goal for the home side on the day.
We also reportedly came close to extending that lead a few occasions with Harlee Dean and Gary Gardner both hitting the bar during the course of the game.
Are you concerned about the size of the squad?
Yes
No
And even though it wasn’t quite the same as knocking them out of the FA Cup say, it still came as a bit of a boost for some members of the St Andrew’s faithful, who really seemed to enjoy the result, even if a few of them did perhaps take it a little bit too far.
So wolves actually did have a pretty stacked team out. Happy days

To draw to a Premier league side fielding a strong squad after months of not playing will be a massive momentum boost going into the baggies game

They only just scraped a draw against us with those players?! Start up the promotion bus! We’re gonna win the league! #bcfc

What about you? Are you taking anything from this result, or are you dismissing it completely given the circumstances?
