Word On The Tweet

Many Blues fans send urgent message to team ahead of important clash: “We need to stop the rot”

|

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Well, in the case of Birmingham City fans and the latest pictures coming out of the Wast Hills training ground, they only really painted two words, and they were ‘must-win’.

Having picked up only two points since the Championship season resumed, Blues now only find themselves five points above the relegation zone and in danger of slipping down even further if things don’t pick up very soon.

Will we stay up?

Yes

No

So when the club released these photos of the players getting ready for an important clash against Swansea City later today, there were some pretty stern messages sent to the players from supporters on social media, with one very clear message being sent to them, another loss would be totally unacceptable.

What about you? Do you think that tonight’s game against Swansea City is indeed must win? Or do you think we can still get out of it even if we don’t pick up three points?

Its going to be very complicated this season in the Relegation zone because I think that Wigan will not get a points deduction because of the circumstances regarding their going into administration, secondly Barnsley have insisted that if they finish in the bottom three and Sheffield Wednesday or Derby have not been punished by the EFL they will appeal,so all in all it is very complicated. So the priority for Blues is to get their fingers out and start winning matches and make sure we do not get sucked into the upcoming mess.I have said it before and I believe this to be true that on paper we should be at least holding our own with the majority of sides in this division so there must be a underlying mentality stopping us doing that somewhere

Our fate rests with the players – are they happy to be playing in Div 1 next season? If there were crowds at the games they would not be playing the way they are as the fans would give them hell. Pep is not inspirational nor able to kick backsides when needed. If we lose or even draw with Swansea he should be on the next plane to Barcelona
