Former Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has turned down the chance to become the new Birmingham City manager.
The 44-year-old reportedly held talks with the club, but won’t be taking the job after talks broke down.
It is thought that Karanka wasn’t convinced about the project at St. Andrew’s.
Steve Cotterill is now the firm favourite to take over.
