Jacques Maghoma has signed an extension to his current contract keeping him at St. Andrew`s until 30 June 2018.
The Democratic Republic of Congo international was a free transfer from Sheffield Wednesday a year ago and has proved to be a fine piece of business contributing six goals and some eye catching performances from out wide.
Maghoma was interesting a host of Championship clubs but this contract extension will put an end to that.
The club also have a further one year option, in their favour, at the end of this fresh deal.
Meanwhile, Denny Jonhstone and Andrew Shinnie have returned to the club from respective loan spells at Greenock Morton and Rotherham United. The pair will start pre-season training with Blues before Gary Rowett makes a decision on their futures.
