After Blues had won 3-0 at Oakwell on Saturday, David Flitcroft became one of five managers who no longer have clubs this weekend.

Barnsley are now bottom of the Championship and Flitcroft had not quite made it to his first anniversary of being in charge.

Last season he helped the club avoid relegation, but this time round they are six points adrift from safety and the magic has worn off.

Technical coach Martin Scott and strength and conditioning coach Guy Proctor have followed Flitcroft out of the club, assistant manager Micky Mellon has taken over first team affairs.

Other managers to go this weekend have been Bristol City’s Sean O’Driscoll, Sheff Weds Dave Jones, Wigan’s Owen Coyle and Fulham’s Martin Jol.
