Dane Peter Lovenkrands is hoping that he will be at Birmingham after the January transfer window closes and sees out his contract that expires in the summer.

The player has not had much luck when it comes to getting into the first team, but he would love to have more chances to prove what he can do, but he does not seem to impress manager Lee Clark too much.

‘Of course, I would like to play more, but I hope I get the chance soon,’ Lovenkrands told Tipsbladet.

‘I am taking it easy. I am still involved at the club and I am fit and ready.’

He added: ‘Everything can happen of course, but right now I don’t think something will happen.

The 33-year-old has not yet decided what he will do when his deal runs out.
