Neal Eardley has joined Leyton Orient on loan for a month after finding his game time limited at Birmingham. It is most likely he will be allowed to stay beyond that point is Blues avoid any injuries.

The Welshman has not impressed during his time at Blues and has also had terrible luck with some serious injuries. It would seem that he is edging closer to a move away from the club with the latest move.

As mentioned above, it would not be surprising to see him remain elsewhere for longer than a month provided that Blues don’t end up needing him.

Birmingham have Jonathan Spector returning from injury and Will Packwood has also played in the right back role plenty of times so it would seem they are well covered there.

Eardley will be desperate to reestablish himself within a team after being let go by Blackpool in 2013. He has made just 9 league appearances for Birmingham; his last was his sending off in a 1-0 defeat to Blackburn.
