Luke Turner thinks Blues can carry on the good run…
Blues have been in fantastic form over the past four games and the team have gone a long way in erasing that Wolves defeat from the memory.
10 points out of the last 12 is an extremely healthy return and there’s no reason to say we can’t match that in the next four games.
We face QPR, Preston, Blackburn and Nottingham Forest in the coming weeks and it’s these sort of games where we would hope to pick up points.
Beating teams like Norwich and Sheffield Wednesday are slightly unexpected and an added bonus as they will both be looking to be up there come the end of the season.
But, when we play the likes of Preston, Blackburn and Rotherham at home, we will be expected to gain maximum points.
We stumbled a bit playing these sort of games last season against bang average, lower half of the league teams and we don’t want the same thing to happen again.
It’s so important that we find a way of beating these teams because, if we don’t, then it’s unlikely that we can expect to mount a realistic play-off charge.
However, we should still keep grounded and take every game as it comes. Blues are in a rich vein of form at present and I for one don’t want it to end any time soon.
