Huddersfield Town’s visit to St. Andrews this Saturday marks, inarguably, the biggest game in Birmingham City’s recent history.

By 5pm, safety could be confirmed but Blues could also end the afternoon in the bottom three with only one game remaining.

Admittedly, this situation should never have occurred. Catastrophic mistakes have been made. But now isn’t the time to dissect the performance of our board. Neither is it the time to criticise and point the finger at a certain Italian who shall not be named. All that can wait until the summer.

What Birmingham City need right now, more than ever, is unity. Manager. Players. Supporters. Everyone pulling in the same direction.

Our manager possesses a wealth of experience. He, and his players, will be backed by a completely sold out stadium willing their team on.

Huddersfield are a good side. Getting a positive result will be very tough. But if Blues can get the basics right, stay organised – and the fans can create a cauldron of noise – we will have half a chance.

Let’s do what Blues fans do best and get behind the royal blue shirt. Let’s do all we can to make sure this is not our last game as a Championship club.

Let’s Keep Right On.
