Larsson’s High Hopes

Seb Larsson believes Blues will soon be back at the top of the table.

After topping the table at the beginning of the season, a run of bad form saw Blues drop quite hysterically down the charts until recent results not only lifted spirits but also closed the gap on league leaders Cardiff.

Speaking to the local press, Larsson said he believes that Blues will soon top the table again:

‘Definitely, I think we can get back to the top.

‘We were disappointed that we didn’t beat Wolves and make it six wins in a row and go joint top. But we are still on this non-losing run, if you know what I mean, and that is a good thing.

‘I don’t see any reason why we can’t keep going, get back up there and create a bit of a gap between us and the teams below.

‘There are some interesting games coming up for us and maintaining our consistency of results is what we have to do.

‘It’s hard to say what we have to do to score the goals. We get into the right areas so often. Sometimes I think we just need to look at the chances more as a team, give everyone a piece of the cake.

‘If we get a second goal after the first, it makes everything so much easier. I think the team will relax more.’
