Sebastian Larsson will wait until the end of the seaosn before decided where his future lies.

The loan signing from Arsenal will be out of contract and is still waiting to see if he will be offered an extension by the London club, but Larsson hasn’t ruled out the chance of staying permanently with Blues.

The 21 year old is well liked by Bruce and the Blues have already negotiated an option to sign him permanently from Arsenal.

Speaking to the Birmingham Mail Larsson said:

‘I haven’t really thought about my future much, I am still settling in and finding a place to live here.

‘I am pleased just to play football and be involved a lot in the games we have had.

‘I am going to do my best for Birmingham for the rest of the season and try to help us get promotion. After that, we will just see what happens.

‘I will sit down with all the different parties and decide what’s best for me and everyone else.

‘I still belong to Arsenal. Obviously I will have to speak to them as well. All I can say at the moment is that I am really happy here.

‘It was a really good chance to play regular football and experience everything that comes with it: the pressure from the fans, the club and the pressure of trying to keep your place in the team.

‘It’s so different from just playing a game every now and then and going back to the reserves. Coming to Birmingham is a good opportunity for me and he (Wenger) will be able to see how I handle it.’
