It is understood that Bartley will join Birmingham for the full season on loan and join the rather short department of defenders.
The player started as a trainee at Arsenal before having loan spells with Sheffield United and Rangers. He signed for Swansea City on a free transfer in 2012; making just one start.
Kyle Bartley hasn’t really played a season from start to finish in a starting capacity for any team in his career, for this reason I hope Lee Clark is not hoping to have him as a number one choice for Blues too early in his loan spell with the club.
