Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez has stepped in to take Blues teenage keeper Artur Krysiak to the Liberty Stadium on a three-month loan.

The Pole will be back up to first choice keeper de Vries who has been the only shot stopper on Swansea`s books since the start of the season.

‘We have been following Artur’s progress for some time now,” Martinez told the club’s official website.

‘He is mature well beyond his 19 years and I am convinced he is a future Poland international at senior level.

‘From what we’ve seen of him already, he will provide added competition for Dorus and we are all excited about him joining us.”

Krysiak has been on loan this season to York City but had to return to Birmingham after dislocating his finger.
