NEWCASTLE UNITED – Rafa Benitez has committed his immediate future to Newcastle after signing a three year contract. The Spaniard couldn`t stop the Geordies from sliding into the Championship but will be the man to lead their promotion charge.

READING – The Royals have completed the signing of 22 year-old Dutch defender Danzell Gravenberch from second tier side FC Dordrecht.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST – Kelvin Wilson, Robert Tesche and Chris Burke have are all being released from Nottingham Forest at the end of their contracts this summer.

LEEDS UNITED – Darrell Clarke, current Bristol Rovers manager, has been approached about becoming Leeds United`s next manager. However, current manager Steve Evans hasn`t yet been told he is losing his job at Elland Road.

ROTHERHAM UNITED – Ex-Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer and former England boss Steve McClaren have been linked to the vacant position at Rotherham United. Neil Warnock departed the New York Stadium last week after preserving the clubs Championship status.

FULHAM – Sturm Graz defender Michael Madl has signed a two year contract at Fulham after a successful loan spell at Craven Cottage last season.

BLACKBURN ROVERS – Tommy Spurr, Matt Kilgallon, Chris Taylor, Chris Brown, Lee Williamson, Nathan Delfouneso, Simon Eastwood and Simeon Jackson are all free to speak to other clubs after their Blackburn contracts expired. However, when their new manager is appointed, some may be offered new deals.

DERBY COUNTY – Stephen Warnock and Conor Sammon have not been offered new deals at Pride Park.

BURTON ALBION – Blues winger Mark Duffy has not yet been made an offer by Burton Albion despite having a successful loan spell at the Pirelli Stadium last season. Duffy is being released from Blues.
