READING – Jaap Stam has been named as the new manager of Reading. The former Manchester United captain has signs a two year contract becoming Brian McDermott successor.
NORWICH CITY – Wes Hoolahan has been retained by Norwich City. The club have triggered the one year option in his contract. Cameron Jerome has also penned a new deal.
BRIGHTON – Steve Sidwell has completed a permanent move to Brighton. The 33 year-old spent part of last season on loan at the Amex making 19 appearances.
FULHAM – Jamie O`Hara, Dan Burn, Shaun Hutchinson and Alexander Kacaniklic have been released by Fulham.
BRISTOL CITY – Gary O`Neil has signed for Bristol City on a free transfer. O`Neil leaves recently relegated Norwich City for pastures new at Ashton Gate.
WOLVES – Goalkeeper Andy Lonergan has completed a move from Fulham to Wolves. The 32 year-old signs a two year deal at the Molineux.
ASTON VILLA – Bournemouth captain Tommy Elphick is the subject of interest from Aston Villa. According to reports, Villa are preparing a £3m bid. Villa manager Roberto Di Matteo is also interested in Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher.
