Blues striker Marlon King insists that Birmingham will get back on the right track and make a return to the form they were in a few weeks ago.

King believes it is a foolish thing to do if you are writing Blues off after a couple of slumps this last week or two.

King is Blues top scorer with 13 goals this season, his latest being the equaliser in the 1-1 draw at Coventry at the weekend.

It`s true that form has gone down a little since the game with Nottingham Forest, the lads have been knocked out of the FA Cup at the hands of Chelsea and there has been draws against Derby County and now Coventry, both games you would have thought City would have won.

December 19th was the last time that City won on their travels in the Championship, but they have a chance of putting that right when they visit Leicester on Tuesday.

King told the Birmingham Mail: “I`m not going to lie, the last three league games have been disappointing.

“But there`s no-one in that dressing room who is down or upset about it.

“We know we have got to get back to the drawing board, work hard and get back to where we were.

“We have to look at it as the last two games unbeaten so we can go on another run.

“You win two, three games on the bounce it becomes seven, eight unbeaten instead of ‘you haven`t won in three`. You can look at it either way.

“I don`t think it`s a case of it`s not happening for us at the moment.
