Luke Turner picks out a key player for the visit to Elland Road…

We go into Saturday`s game at Elland Road on the back of a cup exit to Oxford as well as failing to score in that game and the opener against Cardiff.

The arrival of Che Adams will hopefully help to improve our goalscoring form but I am looking at David Cotterill to step up to the plate against Leeds.

He didn’t really have too much influence last weekend against The Bluebirds but I’m hoping that the Welshman can help us discover our killer instinct.

We all know that he can deliver that inch perfect cross and also chip in with a goal or two so we need players like him to be the difference in tight games.

Scoring from set pieces is a very underrated part of football and, if we can take advantage of winning free kicks and corners, then we have plenty of height in the middle to benefit.

If we’re struggling to create anything noteworthy going foreword, then our best opportunities may come from the boot of Cotterill delivering crosses or having pot-shots.

Being the away side, it may suit us a lot more. The onus will be on Leeds to attack so, if we can break quickly and in numbers, Cotterill is someone that you can back to finish a move off.

He may drift in and out of games or even have no impact whatsoever but, when given the chance, he is a game changer and we`ll need him to be very productive this season to give us better chances of winning games.
