Luke Turner picks a key player for tomorrow’s game…

Blues travel to the Pirelli Stadium tomorrow evening looking seal their second win within the space of four days as they face Gary Rowett`s old club Burton Albion.

It will be the perfect opportunity for Blues to gain a bit of momentum before the big derby game against Aston Villa next Sunday, although we all know that everything goes out of the window in derby matches.

If we are to get another three points tomorrow then I think that Jacques Maghoma will be key to it.

He was excellent against Rotherham on Tuesday and managed to cap his performance off with a well taken solo goal.

When he’s on song then he really can be unstoppable. His pace, power and skill causes defenders all sorts of problems and I feel he can be a real menace against The Brewers.

Particularly away from home he can help carry the ball, turning defence into attack and, as well all know, this plays a huge part in Blues` style of play away from home.

If we can win the ball high up and feed the ball to him, then Maghoma could be the man to grab a goal or provide an assist for his teammates.

However, he also needs to be up to the task when defending. He’s shown that he can do a great job defensively but, at times, he can also switch off and be quite poor.

If he supports Jonathan Grounds and then links up well on an attacking front, then Maghoma could be vital in helping us take all three points back to Brum.
