Kelly Called Into Eire Squad


Defender Stephen Kelly has been drafted into the Republic of Ireland’s squad for their game against the Czech Republic.

Steve Staunton’s side suffered an embarrassing 5-2 defeat at the hands of Cyprus in their last qualifier that actually Staunton was banned ftom the touchline for.

Manchester City’s Richard Dunne saw red and Sunderland’s Liam Miller has been ruled out of the match against the Czech’s with an injury.

On the back of this, Kelly has been drafted in and is likely to make his third appearance for the side.
