At the age of 30 Jones will no doubt be relishing his chance to play a big part in a promotion push. Having gone through his career probably not as successfully as he’d of liked it may be now we see him really come to the forefront.
Blues will need to contain him in the air, a big strong centre forward will allow Bournemouth to go direct if they have too. In addition to his presence he will be a headed goal threat so the crosses will have to be stopped down the wings.
I think we’ll see plenty of flick on’s and runs to the back post from Jones in today’s game should he be given the chance to start following his super sub impact last time out.
