The referee for Saturday’s game against Reading at the Mad Stad will be James Adcock unless there is a late change.

The Nottinghamshire based official has not been in charge of a game involving Birmingham before.

Last term Adcock went on to take charge of 33 games and showed 94 yellow cards and five red. This season Adcock has been in charge of just five games so far but has shown 20 yellow cards already, including seven in a game between Bolton and QPR.

Assisting Adcock on Saturday will be Mathew Buonassisi and Antony Coggins, while the Fourth Official duties will be carried out by David Woolford.
