Birmingham City target Jonny Hayes has today joined Scottish Premiership champions Celtic on a three-year deal from Aberdeen.

Blues boss Harry Redknapp was keen on the Irish winger who impressed last season, scoring 11 goals in all competitions.

Championship rivals Cardiff City withdrew their interest in the player earlier this week and the 29-year-old has now opted to stay in Scotland.

  • Don’t think it was ever on the cards unless Celtic dropped out of the running. Plenty of better and younger fish in the sea

  • Jonny Hayes was only looked at don’t think Redknapp placed him highly he may have been 5th or 6th choice.

  • What ever, but we need to hear bids going in for strikers as they win matches , we need to test the water early so we can move on to others if it’s not on …this faffing about playing waiting games is not in blues favour …if you have to wait to long for an answer move on ….he who dares ..Kro ..
