Word On The Tweet

‘Interesting’, ‘the potential’: Have these Birmingham fans spotted something in latest tweet?

|

Do you reckon the club did this deliberately?

They must have known what the reaction was going to be, yet they still went ahead with it.

As has become a tradition with Blues fans this summer, every tweet that the club sends out usually gets a good amount of responses demanding that the club ‘announce Puscas’. The club has been linked with the Romanian for a few days now, and Birmingham fans are getting anxious that the deal might never get done. Even something as simple as the squad numbers being released is seen as an opportunity to get their feelings heard.

Not only are they resorting to shouting at the social media team, but it looks as if they’ve reached conspiracy theory levels of obsessed.

They noticed that the number nine has been left blank. Is this a sign that they’ve left it vacant for his arrival? That’s what these fans all thought and whilst it is a bit of a big hint, nothing is official until he holds up the shirt. And as the Sunjic holdup showed, even then it isn’t 100% official.

Although the number nine doesn’t necessarily mean that a striker is going to be brought in, that number can be worn by anyone, as Khalid Boulahrouz proved when he played for Chelsea.
