Birmingham City striker Clayton Donaldson is reportedly the target of three championship clubs, according to HITC Sport.

Leeds United are rumoured to be the side that are in pole position to sign the 16 goal striker but sources suggest that the West Midlands club do not want to sell the forward, let alone to another championship club.

The former Brentford striker enjoyed a successful season under the guidance of Gary Rowett and his back room staff and his hard work on the pitch has not gone unnoticed as the interest in the 31 year old hots up.

Newly appointed United manager Uwe Rosler has already added the services of Lee Erwin from Motherwell this summer and now the former Wigan Athletic boss wants to add Donaldson to his ranks.

However, if Rosler wants to get his hands on the Blues Player of the season he will have to fight off Ipswich Town and Reading who are also interested in the striker.

According to reports, Rowett and the club are braced for bids and even though they are reluctant to sell one of their best players, a substantial bid could prove enough to prize Donaldson away from Birmingham.

Blues fans, how much do you think that Donaldson is worth? Do you think the club should sell him to a championship rival? Let us know in the comment section down below!
