Injury Problems Ahead Of Hull Clash

Birmingham manager Alex McLeish told of his new injury concerns after Sunday`s match with Aston Villa on Sunday.

Blues lost the game to a late winner for Gabby Whatshisname and after the match ended up with fresh problems ahead of the game with Hull City next weekend.

‘We are really are strapped for players at the moment in terms of injuries and we had three or four limp off,’ McLeish said.

‘We’ll wrap them in cotton wool this week and we’ll see what we’ve got available next week.

‘Franck Queudrue is struggling with his hamstring, James McFadden went off at half-time with a thigh muscle strain and Roger Johnson has got a gash in his shin.

‘We would expect him to be okay but the other two could be doubts.’
