The weekend’s dispiriting defeat to QPR has left many fans a bit negative about our chances against Fulham.
The Cottagers have their own goals of finishing second and promotion to the Premier League, and it’s clearly not going to be an easy encounter at St Andrews:
Many supporters on Twitter reacted to Garry Monk’s rallying call with a mixture of optimism and scepticism:

We just don't have any big game players, we could have saved ourselves yesterday but they bottled it. We'll get nothing from Fulham so relying on other teams to save us. I'm praying to the gods for a miracle.

Time to summon the blood and stiffen the sinew. Can't rely on others, need a massive display against Foolham. #kro #bcfc

When we go down a good clear out, bring more youths in the team. Hopefully we keep the manager and come back stronger.

And yes, I am tired of it. But hopefully we'll get through this season and Garry and his staff can address it all. Last two seasons have been disturbed by manager changes galore. We have a manager now on a 3.5 year contract. Let's see what he does in the summer. #bcfc

Verdict:
You can feel a bit raw after such a poor loss, and I can understand some of the negativity around about Sunday. However, the players will be playing in front of a full house and will be given all the backing to get a result.
Since his arrival, Monk has only lost once at home, and that was his first game against Middlesbrough. We are a different beast in front of our own fans, and I fully expect for the team to put in a good display. Whether that will be enough, we will have to wait and see.
