These Blues fans have been doing yet more reminiscing, this time with a rather spectacular goal scored by a certain Swede.
In their latest attempt to fill the void without football with some retrospective content, the Blues social media team has once again dipped into the archives to bring us some memories of goals gone by, and they picked a pretty good one yesterday.
They went back over a decade to find Sebastian Larsson’s late winner away to Tottenham Hotspur from the 2007/08 season, arguably one of the better goals in not only Blues history, but Premier League history as well.
It was certainly a highlight in a season that ended in heartbreak, and judging by the reaction it got from fans on Twitter, it certainly still holds a special place in the hearts of Blues fans, as they couldn’t contain their emotions from flowing through to their keyboards.
