On loan Birmingham midfielder Emyr Huws has been selected for Wales next international squad. Huws is the only uncapped player to make the cut for Wales` friendly with Iceland next month.

Huws has been growing in reputation since joining Birmingham and it is not surprise this call up is getting media attention. The 20 year old midfielder hasn`t actually played a Premier League game.

This is not the first time Huws has been in the Wales squad, he was included last November but didn`t feature against Finland.

Manager Chris Coleman clearly feels that it is almost time to give this young player an international cap. The call up could be said to be a result of the still injured Aaron Ramsey.

Coleman isn`t the only one who thinks highly of Huws, respected ex-Wales striker Malcolm Allen has said he feels Huws should now feature for Wales and deserves his chance.

Full Wales squad: Wayne Hennessey, Boaz Myhill, Owain Fon Williams, James Collins, Ben Davies, Danny Gabbidon, Chris Gunter, Adam Matthews, Ashley Richards, Samuel Ricketts, Neil Taylor, Ashley Williams, Joe Allen, Jack Collison, Emyr Huws, Andy King, Joe Ledley, Jonathan Williams, Gareth Bale, Simon Church, Jermaine Easter, Hal Robson-Kanu, Sam Vokes.
