Former Birmingham Boss Chris Hughton could be set for a return to the Championship, should Leeds United select him as their next manager.

Our friends over at Vital Leeds are reporting that Chris Hughton is one of the latest names to apply for the job at Ellen Road.

Hughton is looking for a way back into management after a disastrous end to his Norwich tenure. He joined Norwich in 2012 after a successful time in charge of Birmingham City, the last time the Blues saw the playoffs.

He took charge of 82 games at Norwich, winning 24, drawing 23 and lost 35.

There are now plenty of manager lining up to have a go at the Leeds job after David Hockaday was shown the door in August.
