Huddersfield Town striker Lee Novak has agreed to join Birmingham City on a three-year contract.

The 24-year-old is well known by manager Lee Clark from when he was in charge at Huddersfield and the signing is a good one for City.

The striker has made 108 appearances for the Terriers and managed to bag 48 goals and Clark expects that good run to continue because of the players work rate.

Clark told reporters: ‘Lee’s looking to progress and coming to Birmingham is another progression in his career.

‘Our crowd will take to him because they’ll see the work ethic of the player. They’ll see everything that he gives and he’ll quickly establish himself as a popular player with the fans.’

On signing Novak in January 2009, Huddersfield manager Lee Clark said that ‘…he has good awareness and he brings other people into the game. He has a fantastic work ethic… having talked with him he is the type of character that wants to learn and become a better player.
