This is probably the perfect time to play Derby County right now.
Whilst Birmingham are coming off the back of a rather disappointing display in their last game out at home to Preston North End, it’s certainly nothing compared to what has been going on around Pride Park, and I’m not just talking about results on the pitch.
Given that they have just received some, let’s just say, less than pleasing news when it comes to players Tom Lawrence, Mason Bennett and Richard Keogh, there may not be a more perfect time to ‘hit them while they’re down’ as it were.
Journalist Brian Dick posted out his suggestion for what the Birmingham team should look like on Twitter and it got an interesting couple of responses from Birmingham City fans. In particular, they seemed to be focusing a lot of their attention on one player in particular in David Davis.

It really comes down to a case of whether or not you had a knee-jerk reaction to how the Preston game went. Do you feel it’s time for a change just off the back of that result? Or do you see it merely as a blip and that Clotet will be able to sort things out?
