‘How many more this year?’: Lots of Blues fans call for change after calamity at Wigan

|

I can’t say I’m surprised.

It doesn’t take a genius to work out where a lot of the blame was going for the Blue’s defeat last night.

Lee Camp committed what can only be described as ‘a howler’ last night, as he let an Anthony Pilkington effort squirm under his body to give hosts Wigan Athletic the lead, and what would turn out to be the winner.

Anyone who is a regular on this site will know that I’m not exactly Camp’s biggest fan, and after the goal last night it looks as if I’m going to have to make a lot more room on the bandwagon.

He came in for some flak in the aftermath of Derby County’s first goal on the weekend, however that was nothing compared to the amount of stick that he received when it came to his error last night. These were some of the, not so much highlights, let’s call them ‘most prominent’ comments when it came to the goalkeeper’s performance.

And if you think those were nasty, bear in mind that we had to leave all the ones that had swear words in them, so it got even worse than that at times.
