Well this isn’t exactly the best way to treat a player.
Blues boss Pep Clotet gave an update on the fitness of the defender Grounds to BCFC.com:
“I’m very happy for him as he had the injury in the summer and it’s been a lot of work for Jonathan to get back on the pitch. Now it’s about him getting fitter, playing a few games for the Under-23s to find his football. But it’s very positive. Jonathan is good character, very professional and focused. And I am sure he wants to help the team.”
I spoke earlier this week about Grounds’ situation and how we shouldn’t be too keen to rush him back because of how it could disrupt the flow of the squad.
However, it looks as if these fans don’t want to see him back based on his playing ability. Although I do agree with them that he’s not the best option for the cub at the moment, I do feel some of these comments are slightly harsh.
Pay him off and keita and Stockdale.

Seriously? Grounds? He must be the worst player to play over a hundred games for the Blues. Couldn’t get into the worst Bolton side in their history. Welcome back- you’re useless.
