Hornets Extend Mutch Loan Deal

Watford have stepped in to increase the loan period of midfielder Jordon Mutch until January.

Mutch originally joined the Hornets for a month but after impressing during the three games he played, manager Malky MacKay increased the 18 year olds stay.

‘We’re delighted to have agreed an extension with both Birmingham and Jordon,’ Mackay told the club’s official website.

‘He was keen to stay and gain valuable Championship experience.

‘We feel he has the potential to be a top young talent so it’s great to have him here for longer.’
