You weren't on for long but had an important impact, stopped a crucial break with probably one of the best slide tackles I've seen. KRO onto Bolton.

Well done Charlie! Like all Blues legends, you took a couple of loose touches to get into the game but were all the better for it. Showed a lot of fight and courage. Keep kicking on and hopefully we'll see you for the rest of this season 🙂

With Cheikh N’Doye’s departure, our lack of central midfield options could offer Lakin the perfect opportunity to stake a claim for a place in the side.
As one of the few central attacking midfielders in the squad, it should keep the youngster in contention for a starting place throughout the season.
He clearly impressed Garry Monk with his performances during pre-season, and it’s great to see young players coming through the ranks. Charlie will now be keen to get his first start for the club after getting his first taste of the Championship.
